Jakarta – President Director of PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI) (Persero) Bobby Rasyidin met President Prabowo Subianto at the Presidential Palace, Jakarta. Bobby reported a number of things related to railroads, including plans for additional railcars and a special train for farmers. “He also conveyed it to us very clearly, one, ensure security, ensure comfort and of course also ensure cleanliness for future services,” Bobby said after meeting Prabowo at the Presidential Palace, Jakarta, Monday (3/11/2025). SCROLL TO CONTINUE CONTENT Bobby said Prabowo asked for improvements to KAI services. This includes the addition of carriages, carriage facilities and train tracks. “What do trains need? Add carriages, repair existing carriages, make passengers comfortable, especially women, stations, train tracks and carriages must be clean, especially to improve facilities at stations, operate facilities on the track and even improve the infrastructure of the existing track,” he said. Prabowo, he said, specifically asked that this service be increased before the Christmas and New Year holidays (Nataru). He said Prabowo ordered his party to check flood-prone routes. “Welcoming Nataru, he also ordered us to check vulnerable areas in detail, especially areas prone to flooding, areas prone to landslides in this case,” he said.
