Jakarta – The Corruption Eradication Committee (KPK) arrested the regent of Central Lampung Ardito Wijaya and four other people in a hand-arrest operation (OTT). The construction of the case that caused Ardito to be subject to OTT will be revealed tomorrow. “We will convey the complete chronology and construction of the case tomorrow, Thursday (11/12) at a press conference,” Budi Prasetyo, KPK spokesperson, told journalists on Wednesday (10/12/2025). SCROLL TO CONTINUE CONTENT Budi explained that the parties arrested are being intensively investigated. Budi did not reveal details of who he arrested besides Ardito. “Currently, the team is still engaged in intensive investigations of the parties that were arrested, one of which is the regent of Central Lampung,” he said. Ardito arrived at the KPK building, South Jakarta around 20.15 WIB, Wednesday (10/12), Ardito was wearing a white hat and black jacket. “Thank God he’s healthy. Just stay home,” he said. The parties arrested by the KPK in this OTT have the status of being investigated. The Corruption Eradication Committee has 1 x 24 hours to determine their legal status.
