Jakarta – The Corruption Eradication Commission is investigating the former managing director of PT Bhanda Ghara Reksa (BGR), Muhammad Kuncoro Wibowo. Kuncoro was questioned about the alleged corruption case in the distribution of social assistance (bansos) at the Ministry of Social Affairs for the 2020 period. The investigation was carried out today, Friday (31/10/2025) at the Sukamiskin Prison. Investigators also examined another witness, namely the general manager of PT Primalayan Teknologi Persada, Richard Cahyanto. “The inspection was carried out at the Sukamiskin Class I prison,” KPK spokesman Budi Prasetyo told journalists on Friday (31/10). Scroll to continue content Kuncoro and Richard are convicts in a corruption case in the distribution of social assistance that was previously uncovered by the Corruption Eradication Committee (KPK). Kuncoro was sentenced to 6 years in prison, while Richard was sentenced to 5 years in prison. Budi explained that their knowledge was checked in this case. It also includes exploring the roles of the suspects in this case during the investigation. “Overall, we will certainly investigate the roles of the parties designated as suspects by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), both individual suspects and corporate suspects,” he said. For information, in August 2025, the Corruption Eradication Committee announced that it named five new suspects in the distribution of social assistance corruption case at the Ministry of Social Affairs in 2020. The suspects consisted of three people and two corporations. The Corruption Eradication Commission also prevented four people from traveling abroad in connection with this case. They are the President Commissioner of PT Dosni Roha, Bambang Rudijanto Tanoesoedibjo (BRT), Director of Operations for DNR Logistics for 2021-2024 Herry Tho (HT), Director of DNR Logistics for 2018-2022 Kanisius Jerry Tengker (KJT), and the Ministry of Change Staff of Social Affairs and Social Affairs, E. Soeharto (ES). The KPK said this case is related to the distribution of 5 million social assistance in 15 provinces. The Corruption Eradication Commission is also investigating the mechanism for the distribution of the 5 million social assistance.
