Jakarta – The Corruption Eradication Committee (KPK) arrested central Lampung regent Ardito Wijaya in a sting operation (OTT). Ardito was arrested in connection with a case of project bribery. “Project bribery,” Fitroh Rohcahyanto, deputy chairman of KPK, told journalists on Wednesday (10/12/2025). Scroll TO CONTINUE CONTENT However, Fitroh did not disclose the details of the project in question. He also did not explain the amount of alleged bribery for the project. Ardito arrived at the KPK at around 20.15 WIB on Wednesday (10/12) after being caught by OTT. Ardito wore a white hat and black jacket. He was also seen with a suitcase. “Thank God he’s healthy. Just stay home,” he said. A total of five people were arrested in this OTT by the KPK. The parties arrested by the KPK in this OTT have the status of being investigated. The Corruption Eradication Committee has 1 x 24 hours to determine their legal status. (ial/haf)
