Madhya Pradesh: 10 illegal Bangladeshis caught in Gwalior, 8 sent back
Gwalior, November 15 (IANS). Police action continues against Bangladeshi nationals living illegally in Gwalior city of Madhya Pradesh. In the last one month, more than 10 Bangladeshi nationals have been arrested from different parts of the city. According to the information received, all of them were living in Gwalior after preparing fake Indian documents. On Saturday, a special team of Gwalior police sent 8 of these illegal Bangladeshis to West Bengal for the deportation process. There they will be handed over to BSF, after which all will be sent to their country Bangladesh on November 17. According to the police, the arrested Bangladeshis included eight members of the same family, against whom the decision of deportation was taken after the verification of documents was completed. All were kept in the detention area for several days, where all the formalities regarding their documents and identity were completed. After this, after confirming their identity with the help of the embassy, Gwalior police sent all of them to the West Bengal border on Saturday. Here, the remaining two cases relate to high profile and congested areas of the city. Police nabbed two Bangladeshi women from two different apartments for rent in the city center and Padav area. Investigation revealed that both these women were involved in immoral activities and living in the city with the help of fake Indian documents like Aadhar card and PAN card. The police have started to investigate the seized documents and are contacting the embassy to verify their real nationality. Police officials say that once the verification of documents is completed, deportation proceedings will also be initiated against these two women. –IANS SAK/SCH Share this story Tags
