The transport department has initiated action against fake three-digit GDP numbers. Jaipur RTO (First RTO) started operations for the first time in Rajasthan. Notices have been issued to vehicle owners in connection with 2,129 fake vehicle number plates sold in Jaipur. Not only that, RC of all vehicles have been blacklisted. Now physical verification of all the documents of the vehicle will be done. RC will be reinstated only after receipt of valid documents. If the documents are found to be invalid, the RC will be cancelled. Apart from this, a case will also be filed against the vehicle owners. Jaipur RTO (First RTO) Rajendra Singh Shekhawat said that after blacklisting, necessary physical verification will be done on December 24, 25 and 26 in Jagatpura RTO office. It is noteworthy that a case of false backlog of around 10,000 vehicles was found in Rajasthan. As a result, the government is estimated to suffer a revenue loss of crores of rupees.
