New Delhi, November 16 (IANS). Minister of State for Defense Sanjay Seth will lead an Indian delegation to the Dubai Air Show 2025 to be held in the UAE on November 17-18. The delegation includes senior officials from the Department of Defence, Department of Defense Production, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Armed Forces. A bilateral meeting has been planned between Sanjay Seth and his UAE counterpart during the air show. The Minister of State for Defense will also chair an industry roundtable with around 50 companies from India, the UAE, Australia, the US, Brazil, the UK and Italy to enhance cooperation in defense technology and manufacturing in India. The Suryakiran aerobatic team and a contingent of Tejas fighter jets will participate in the Dubai Air Show, an official said. Before the show, the Indian Air Force contingent landed at the Al Maktoum Air Base in Dubai. The official said at the X that the purpose of this global event is to improve interoperability, operational capability and promote military and commercial cooperation. This program will take place at Al Maktoum Airbase. At the same time, the Indian Air Force is all set to participate in the eighth edition of bilateral air exercise ‘Garuda 25’ with the French Air and Space Force (FASF) in Mont-de-Marsan, France from Sunday. An official said that this exercise will continue till November 27. The Indian Air Force contingent reached France on November 10 and will participate with Sukhoi-30MKI fighter jets. During the exercise, Indian Air Force Sukhoi-30 aircraft will work with French multi-role fighter jets, with a focus on air-to-air combat, air defense and joint strike operations. The objective of this exercise is to refine tactics and procedures in a realistic operational environment, enable mutual learning and promote interoperability between the Indian Air Force and FASF. Exercise Garuda 25 also provides an opportunity for professional interaction, exchange of operational knowledge and sharing of best practices between the two Air Forces. –IANS MS/ABM Share this story Tags
