Journalism student Divyansh Chowksey, who was injured in an unfortunate accident at Makhanlal Chaturvedi National Journalism University (MCU) on Thursday morning, died during treatment on Friday. This incident took place on the third floor of the Takshila building of the university. Divyansh was playing a game called ‘Ice Water’ with his friends on the third floor. According to Ratibad Police Station Commander Rashbihari Sharma, when a student tried to catch Divyansh during the match, he lost control and fell from the balcony. Divyansh sustained serious injuries on his head, hands and legs due to the fall. He was immediately taken to the hospital, but even after more than 24 hours of treatment, his life could not be saved. The police said that the statements of other students who were present during the incident were recorded.
