A heartbreaking incident rocked the entire area in the Malarna Dungar police station area of Sawai Madhopur district of Rajasthan late on Tuesday night. A small spark caused by an electrical short circuit caused a small fire in the house of a poor family in the village. In this horrific fire, two innocent sisters – 15-year-old Pooja and 8-year-old Bittu – were burnt alive. The parents wept after seeing the burnt bodies of their daughters. Fifteen goats also died in this accident, completely ruining the family’s livelihood. The parents were outside, while the innocent daughters were sleeping in the house which was covered with cow dung. According to Malarna Dungar Police Station Officer Rajesh Kumar Meena, this tragic incident took place at the house of Ramesh Nayak in Pipalwada Nadi village. At the time of the accident, the girls’ parents – Ramesh Nayak and his wife – had gone out of town for important work. Two sisters, Pooja (15) and Bittu (8), slept with their goats in their thatched house. His grandparents and other relatives slept in another thatched house nearby. The police confirmed that the fire started in the house late at night due to an electrical short circuit. The fire spread quickly because the house was made of grass and wood. The fire was so fast and terrible that all efforts to save the villagers and family members sleeping nearby went in vain. His efforts were false in front of the villagers. Family crushed by corpses: ‘Everything was burnt to ashes’ When the parents returned to town late at night and learned of the horrific accident, their world was shattered. The bodies of both the girls were completely burnt to ashes. The whole village was plunged in sorrow because of their crying. Not only did the children lose their lives in this accident, but the family’s main source of livelihood – 15 goats – was also reduced to ashes. Apart from this, a motorcycle and household items were also completely burnt. Police reached the spot and took the bodies of the two sisters in an ambulance to Malarna Dungar Hospital, where doctors declared them brought dead. The police are investigating; The cause of death was a spark. Malarna Dungar police station conducted the postmortem of both the girls and started a full investigation into the cause of the accident. The police are investigating what caused the short circuit and whether the electrical wiring in the house was old. The police have started further legal proceedings in relation to the accident.
