Khatushyamji Temple Committee election controversy deepens, new executive established despite ban, Shakti Singh becomes new president
Khatushyamji Temple Committee election controversy deepens, new executive established despite ban, Shakti Singh becomes new president Last Updated: 15 December 2025, 19:37 IST The controversy regarding the elections of the world famous Shri Shyam Temple Committee located at Khatushyamji is deepening. The matter became more complicated as the Devasthan Department announced the formation of a new executive despite the ban on the election process. One side calls it illegal, calls it a violation of rules, while the other side claims its formation in terms of the legislation. Now all eyes are fixed on the next action of the administration and the Devasthan department in this entire episode. Sikar. The controversy regarding the elections of the world famous Shri Shyam Temple Committee located at Khatushyamji is constantly deepening, despite the Devasthan Department banning the election process with immediate effect, the temple committee has announced the formation of a new executive. This incident sparked a heated debate between the temple management, administration and devotees. At the same time, allegations of disregard for laws and rules have also come to light. In fact, the Devasthan Department recently issued an order clarifying that preparations are underway for the annual Phalgun fair in Shri Shyam Temple and that it is not appropriate to hold elections during this time. The department directed that elections should be held in a legal manner only after the completion of the fair under the Rajasthan Public Trust Act, 1959 and the Trust Act. This order was issued following complaints from several members of the temple committee, including the current chairman Prithvi Singh Chauhan. It was alleged in the complaint that in the meeting held on November 9, the decision to hold elections on March 4 was taken with the consent of only 6 members without the required quorum and majority. First side: Election process is illegal President Prithvi Singh Chauhan and his supporters say that the formation of a new executive despite the orders of the Devasthan department is a direct violation of the rules. They argue that this entire process is neither transparent nor in accordance with the trust law. He also says that such a decision, amid preparations for the fair, may affect the arrangements of the temple and create confusion among the devotees. He demanded intervention from the administration and strict implementation of departmental orders. On the other hand, the newly formed executive and the officials associated with it claim that this formation was done by the general assembly under Article 6 of the Constitution of Shri Shyam Mandir Committee. According to the public letter issued, 7 members of the General Assembly were declared elected, after which Shakti Singh Chauhan was elected as President, Manvendra Singh Chauhan as Minister and Ravi Singh Chauhan as Treasurer. He says this whole process was done according to internal rules and there is no irregularity in it. At present, because of this whole controversy, the Khatushyamji Temple Committee seems to be divided into two distinct groups, on one side the demand is being raised to follow the orders of the Devasthan Department, while on the other side the new executive is emerging and legitimizing its establishment. Now all eyes are fixed on the upcoming action of the administration and the Devasthan department, which will decide in which direction the future of the temple committee will go. Less time, less illness and more weight! Farmers’ faces bloom with this special variety of sugarcane, they make huge profits
Less time, less illness and more weight! This special variety of sugarcane brings joy to the faces of farmers, they make huge profits. Last Updated: December 15, 2025, 19:36 IST Gane Ki Kheti: A farmer from Gonda has changed the face of farming by growing an improved variety of sugarcane. High yield at low cost and better income made this variety a topic of discussion among farmers. With proper care, this variety turns out to be a profitable deal for the farmers. Gonda: If the right technology and right crop is chosen along with hard work in farming, then the farmer can increase his income manifold. A similar example came to light in Gonda district of Uttar Pradesh, where a farmer from Mankapur development block achieved excellent yield by growing an improved variety of sugarcane. Cultivation of this variety has not only increased production, but due to reduced costs, profits have also increased. While talking to Local 18, progressive farmer Praveen Kumar Singh says he chose 0238 variety instead of traditional sugarcane. This variety is ready in less time and generally there is less possibility of diseases in it. Although the problem of red rot disease surfaced some time ago, this problem has been controlled with timely treatment and care. Sugarcane is better in length, thickness and weight. Praveen Kumar Singh says that both the length and thickness of sugarcane in 0238 variety are good. As a result, the weight of sugarcane is higher and the yield per acre is much higher than that of normal varieties. This is the reason why nearby farmers are also increasingly attracted to this variety. Praveen Kumar Singh told that earlier about 60 percent of the sugarcane planted in his country was of 0238 variety. When the problem of red rot disease began to emerge, he himself was cautious at first. Sugarcane was treated on time and field monitoring was increased. What is the yield per acre? Farmer Praveen says that 0238 variety yields about 400 to 450 quintals of sugarcane per acre. If the field is cared for and treated in time, the yield can be more than 500 quintal. He cultivated sugarcane of 0238 variety in total 3 hectares. The cost of this variety is low and the production is 15 to 20 percent more than other varieties. Big profit at low cost: Farmer Praveen says the cost of cultivating 3 hectares of sugarcane is around Rs 1 to 1.5 lakh. At the same time, he earns around Rs 4 to 5 lakh from this farming. Miracle of vegetable farming, earn Rs 1 lakh in 2 bighas, pickled chillies have become the choice of farmers, you should also use this method
Last Updated: 15 Dec 2025, 19:35 IST Achari Chilli Farming: Farmers in the district are now earning better profits by growing vegetables instead of traditional crops. Pickled chilli is one such crop which has good demand in the market throughout the year. Due to low cost, easy cultivation and long production period, farmers earn up to lakhs of rupees from it. Barabanki: Now farmers in the district are earning better profit by growing vegetables instead of traditional crops. Farmers get daily income from vegetable production, which strengthens their economic condition. Pickled chilli is one such crop from which farmers earn up to lakhs of rupees at low cost. Its demand increases even more in winter. Many farmers in the Barabanki district are now shifting from crops such as paddy and wheat to vegetable farming. While the production of vegetables is fast, its demand in the market also remains constant. For this reason, farmers get a daily source of income. Cultivation of pickled chilli has emerged as a good example of this change. Pickled chillies are in high demand in the market. Pickled chillies are used in pakodas, pickles and many other dishes. This is the reason why its demand always remains in local markets and mandis. Especially in the winter season, the consumption of pickled chillies increases significantly. Due to good demand and better prices, this crop seems to be very profitable for the farmers. Pramod Verma, a farmer from Safipur village in Nawabganj tehsil of Barabanki district, started growing pickled chillies along with other crops. He planted pickled chili crop in about 2 large plots of land. From this farming he gets a profit of Rs 90 thousand to Rs 1 lakh in one crop. His success now also becomes an inspiration for the nearby farmers. More profit at less cost: According to farmer Pramod Verma, the cost per bigha of pickle cultivation is around Rs 15 to 20 thousand. In comparison, the profit is many times higher. The special thing is that once the crop is planted, production continues for 3 to 4 months. Due to this, farmers get regular income. Loamy and sandy soils are considered the most suitable for growing pickled chillies. Its yield is better in soil with good drainage. With the right soil and timely irrigation, the quality of the harvest remains good and better prices are available in the market. Growing pickled chillies is relatively easy. First, a nursery of seeds is prepared. After this, the field is deeply plowed and fertilizer is sprayed. Beds are made throughout the field and mulch is applied to them and plants are planted at appropriate distances. Irrigation is done immediately after the plant is planted. After about two months, the harvest begins to come, which can be picked daily and sold in the market. There is a lot of demand for pickled chillies in the market. Farmer Pramod Verma said, “We have been growing flowers and vegetables for many years. Vegetables are more profitable compared to other crops. There is a lot of demand for pickled chillies in the market. At a low cost, we get good income and once planted, the harvest continues for many months.” The good income from the cultivation of pickled chillies is now attracting other farmers to it. Experts believe that if farmers do vegetable farming by understanding the right technology and market demand, their income can increase significantly. 8th pay commission: Will arrears be received from January 1, 2026? What did the government say in Parliament
Last Updated: 15 Dec 2025, 19:33 IST Central Government Employees and Pensioners are watching the 8th Pay Commission. The biggest question is whether the new salary and pension will be implemented from 1 January 2026 and arrears will be received. After the government’s recent answer in Parliament, both the wait and the debate on this issue have increased. The government’s position on the arrears of the 8th Pay Commission is not yet clear. (Representative image:AI) New Delhi. Central government employees and pensioners have been waiting for the 8th pay commission for a long time. The biggest question is that if the new pay commission is implemented late, the increase in salary and pension from 1 January 2026 will be considered and arrears will be received. The period of the 7th Pay Commission ends on December 31, 2025, but so far the government has not given any clear indication about the effective date of the new recommendations. What the government said in Parliament When questions were raised about the 8th Pay Commission during the winter session, State Finance Minister Pankaj Choudhary replied in Parliament. He said that the government will decide the date of implementation and necessary funds will be provided for the accepted recommendations. It became clear from this statement that no firm agreement has currently been reached regarding the payment of arrears from 1 January 2026. This further increased the anxiety of the employees. When will the report come, when will the commission be implemented? The order of the 8th pay commission was notified on 3 November 2025. The commission has been given 18 months to submit its report, meaning the report is likely to come by mid-2027. After this, government approval and notification may take another 3 to 6 months. In such a situation, the new salary structure is likely to be implemented in late 2027 or early 2028. Arrears were also received earlier. If we look at the history, there was often a delay in the implementation of pay commissions, but arrears were given from an earlier date. The 7th Pay Commission was implemented in June 2016, but arrears were received from January 1, 2016. Similarly, the 6th Pay Commission was approved in 2008, while arrears were given from 2006 onwards. Employee organizations say that according to the same tradition, arrears must be paid in the 8th of January Pay20, 6 can be reduced. to non-inclusion of HRA. However, the government generally does not include House Rent Allowance i.e. HRA in the calculation of arrears. This brings huge savings to the government. For example, if the basic salary of an employee is Rs 76,500, then HRA cannot be included, reducing the arrears by about Rs 18,000 every month. Employee organizations are also demanding to include HRA which is in arrears, but the government’s consent on this is considered difficult. Keeping an eye on the government’s decision, if the 8th Pay Commission is implemented without back date, the employees will continue to get salary only under the 7th Pay Commission. Experts believe that if there is a delay, a huge lump sum arrears can be formed, but due to financial pressure, the government can also implement it from a later date. Currently around 50 lakh employees and 69 lakh pensioners will have to wait for the official announcement.
