Railway police registered the case and started investigation. The body has been sent for post-mortem examination and the passenger is being identified. A passenger traveling in train number 12809 CSMT Mumbai-Howrah Mail traveling from Mumbai to Howrah died suddenly on Sunday. When the train reached Rourkela station, the railway doctor declared the passenger dead after examination. After receiving information about the incident, SI Saraswati Sethi of GRP Rourkela took possession of the body and started the postmortem. The post-mortem examination of the body will be done at the Rourkela Government Hospital on Monday, after which it will be handed over to the family. The deceased has been identified as Adrila Mandal (47 years), resident of West Bengal. He was traveling from Mumbai to Howrah and was traveling on seat number 64 of bus number S5. Fellow passenger Muskaan told that the deceased changed seat number from 64 to 63 during the journey. Soon after crossing the Jharsuguda station, he suddenly fell down from his seat. After this, the passengers immediately went to TTE MK. Singh was informed about this. As soon as the train stopped at Rourkela station, the railway doctor was called, who after examination declared the passenger dead. GRP said the preliminary investigation does not indicate any injury or suspicious circumstances. The cause of death will only be clear after the post-mortem. After the incident, there was an atmosphere of panic among the fellow passengers. The police contacted the relatives of the deceased.
