Jakarta – Police are still waiting for the DNA test results of two human skeletons found in the ACC building, Kwitang, Central Jakarta, which burned down at the end of last August. The DNA test results are aimed to be known the day after tomorrow. “More or less Wednesday,” the head of criminal investigation unit for Central Jakarta Police, AKBP Roby Hery Saputra, said on Monday (3/11/2025). These two families are the families of two people who are believed to have been missing since the end of last August. “Two (families that had DNA tests),” he said. Previously, the police investigated the discovery of two human skeletons in the ACC building, Kwitang, Central Jakarta. The building burned down on 29 August and two skeletons were only discovered on Thursday (30/10). “Already, the families of those reported missing by KontraS have taken comparative DNA data from the Kramat Jati Hospital and the National Police Laboratory,” Chief of Criminal Investigation Unit for Central Jakarta Metropolitan Police AKBP Roby Saputra said when confirmed, Sunday (2/11). Roby said the DNA data collection took place on Thursday (10/30) and Friday (10/31). The two people who were reported missing by KontraS and have not been found are M Farhan Hamid and Reno Syahputeradewo. KontraS once said the two people were last seen on August 29 in Kwitang, which was one of the hotspots for the riots. (rdh/haf)
