Prabowo enters the list of 500 influential Muslims 2026, 15th

Jakarta – President Prabowo Subianto has been included in the list of ‘500 most influential Muslims in the world’ in 2026 according to The Royal Islamic Strategic Studies Center in Jordan. Prabowo is 15th in the ranking. The Royal Islamic Strategic Studies Center explains this list to show the influence of Muslim figures on Muslims. These influences can take the form of cultural, ideological, political and economic influences. The Royal Islamic Strategic Studies Center publishes publications that do not necessarily support the views of these figures. The purpose of this list is to measure their influence. The influence can come from a clergyman or a leader. Scroll TO CONTINUE The first position on this list is held by the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani. Next, in the 7th position is the President of Türkiye, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. Then, in eighth place, is the King of Saudi Arabia, Salman bin Abdulaziz. Then there is Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim in the 10th position. Apart from Prabowo, there are two Muslim figures from Indonesia, namely PBNU chairman KH Yahya Cholil Staquf who sits in the 19th position and KH Habib Luthfi bin Yahya in the 31st position. The Royal Islamic reviewed that Prabowo has been in office since October 2024. Prabowo has reportedly carried out a major reshuffle in his cabinet in light of national protests. Prabowo is also said to be a charismatic figure when he makes speeches. “Prabowo is known for his charismatic public speaking and ability to connect with rural and working-class voters. He is also a skilled equestrian, who has represented Indonesia in international competitions,” he explained. Prabowo’s views on Gaza are also under review. Prabowo is said to be putting Indonesia’s position by criticizing Israel’s actions against Gaza. “Indonesia strongly condemned Israel’s actions in Gaza, and offered support for the South African genocide case at the International Court of Justice (ICJ) by submitting a legal advisory opinion,” he continued.
