At a certain point, they will continue to increase and will continue to be distributed. All national forces are therefore being mobilized to speed up the emergency response and restore everything immediately,” he explained. The government is preparing post-disaster rehabilitation and reconstruction scenarios. Pratikno emphasized that the government will also continue to focus on dealing with emergency response. “At the same time, we are also preparing scenarios for recovery. Rehabilitation and reconstruction. Of course we are focusing on emergency response, but we are preparing the rehabilitation and reconstruction scenario stages,” he said. The government is currently accelerating the provision of temporary housing for residents who have lost their homes. Pratikno said the government will speed up emergency response in the field. “There are several things that need to be prioritized. I have discussed with the Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure on how to carry out quick recovery, including for temporary housing,” he said. “We will support how resources are deployed. But of course it’s not just resource deployment, but how to synergize in the field,” he added. Pratikno also expressed his appreciation to the officers working in the field. He also appreciated the volunteers who helped deal with this disaster. “Thank you to the TNI, Polri and Regional Government staff who are working hard to make temporary housing possible while rehabilitation and reconstruction will also be carried out soon,” he said.
