The disappearance of minor girls from two different places in the Sonpur police station area and allegations of abduction in one case have created an atmosphere of panic and anxiety in the area. The families of the victims filed a complaint with the police regarding both the incidents and demanded immediate action. In the first incident, a class 9 student of Ramsunder Das Mahila Mahavidyalaya went to college on November 20 but returned home only in the evening. The family members searched the surrounding areas and contacted relatives, but no trace of the girl was found. Finally, the family members gave this information by filing an application at the Sonpur police station. The police registered the case and started searching for the student. In the second incident, an allegation was made of the kidnapping of a 13-year-old girl in another village of the police station area. According to relatives, a young man from the village lured the girl and took her with him in the afternoon. The family says the accused was seen suspiciously hovering around the house for several days and also tried to threaten the girl. Both the cases are being investigated by sub-inspector level officers. Police said that both incidents are being taken seriously, raids are underway on possible targets. After these missing incidents, an atmosphere of fear has spread among the parents and local people of the area and people are very worried about the safety of the children.
