Strengthen 3T digital infrastructure by valuing digital connectivity

Jakarta – The development of digital infrastructure leads people to a digital society. The Ministry of Communications and Digital has made efforts to build digital infrastructure, especially in areas where access to telecommunications is difficult, such as the highest, border and extreme (3T) areas. In 2025, development of digital infrastructure will be carried out by the Komdigi Telecommunications and Information Accessibility Agency (BAKTI). Deputy Minister of Communications and Digital Indonesia, Nezar Patria, said that the development of digital structures in the 3T area by BAKTI Ministry of Communications and Technology focuses on four sectors, namely education, health, services, government and defense and security. “Given the importance of equal distribution of Internet access, especially in these four priority sectors, Komdigi remains committed to ensuring equal distribution of digital infrastructure throughout Indonesia through the BTS program and the expansion of the Palapa Ring network,” Nezar said, quoted on the Komdigi website, Thursday (11/12/2025).
