Noida, December 2 (IANS). Aiming to strengthen the maintenance and cleanliness system in the city, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) on Tuesday conducted a comprehensive inspection of various areas of Noida. During this Vijay Rawal, Director (Horticulture) Anand Mohan and concerned senior managers were also with him, Deputy General Manager (Civil) of Noida Authority. During the inspection, the CEO took stock of the condition of many roads and important places, including Sector-128 roundabout, 45 meter wide road parallel to the highway, from Sector-128 to Sector-150 and Sector-153 roundabout. Mysore Clock Tower construction work was seen at Sector-128 roundabout. While instructing the Horticulture Department, the CEO said that the construction work should be completed quickly and it should be ensured that it is operationalized in the next 10 days. Along with this, instructions were given to Work Circle-9 to reduce the perimeter of the Rotary and complete the work of road widening and mastic flooring at the intersection by December 20. As the continuous traffic jam during peak hours at Sector-132 Roundabout is considered a serious problem, the CEO has given clear instructions to reduce the width of the lathe and widen the road and service road. Orders were given to submit the estimate for this action as soon as possible. During inspection, potholes were found at many places on the main roads of the city. On this, the CEO instructed the relevant officials to get all the potholes filled within 24 hours. At the same time, when the extremely poor condition of cleanliness on the road from Sector-135 irrigation drain to Chaprauli village, Sector-167 was found, a strict stand was taken and action was taken to stop one month’s salary of the concerned supervisor and seek clearance from the health inspector. Moreover, instructions were given to complete the cleaning of this area within two days and submit the report. When heavy waterlogging was found in the green belt area from Mohiyapur village to Jhatta village, the CEO directed the Civic, Water and Horticulture Department to conduct a joint inspection and ensure speedy resolution. The progress of construction work of Mandapam at Sector-153 roundabout was also reviewed by the Horticulture Department.
