The second T20 match will be played between India and South Africa at the Maharaj Yadvendra Singh International Cricket Stadium in Mullanpur on Thursday, in which Hardik Pandya gets a chance to create history by completing a century of wickets in his T20 international career. Hardik Pandya has so far taken 99 wickets for India in 121 T20 matches at an average of 26.47. During this period, Pandya bowled 1,913 balls, giving a total of 2,621 runs. Pandya has taken four wickets in an innings three times in this format. Meanwhile, Pandya has scored 1,919 runs as a batsman. He hit 100 sixes and 146 fours. In T20 International cricket, only three players have scored ‘100 wickets’ and hit ‘100 sixes’. Currently, the names of Sikandar Raza (Zimbabwe), Mohammad Nabi (Afghanistan) and Veerandeep Singh (Malaysia) are included in this list. Whereas, if we talk about Indians who have scored a hundred wickets in T20 International cricket, then the first name in this list is that of fast bowler Arshdeep Singh. The 26-year-old bowler took 107 wickets in 69 matches at an average of 18.37. Jasprit Bumrah is the second Indian to be included in this list. Bumrah took 101 wickets in 81 matches at an average of 17.92. Bumrah took a hundred wickets in the first match of this series. Bumrah is the fifth player in the world to take 100 wickets in all three formats of international cricket. Before him, this feat was done by Shakib Al Hasan, Lasith Malinga, Tim Southee and Shaheen Shah Afridi. After India lost the Test series against South Africa 0-2, India won the three-match ODI series 2-1. After this, Team India won the first T20 match played in Cuttack by 101 runs. India scored 175 runs and lost 6 wickets in the first match of the series played in Cuttack.
