Tanjung Priok police hold community potential joint meeting, expect security disturbances

Jakarta – Tanjung Priok Port Police held a joint rally with Community Potential which was attended by 203 elements of society. Police Chief AKBP Martuasah H. Tobing said that community elements are important partners in maintaining the security of the port area. The joint rally titled ‘Together Protect Our Jakarta’ was held at the Tanjung Priok Port Police Precision Field on Wednesday (10/12/2025). PAGE TO CONTINUE CONTENT The joint roll call activity was attended by the Community Potential group, namely the chairman of the Tanjung Priok Port KS TKBM Cooperative, the chairman of the North Jakarta Online Ojek, the Chief Officer of the Tanjung Priok Port Police, the police chief and staff. “I would like to express my thanks and appreciation to all parties who attended and continue to support the maintenance of security in the Tanjung Priok port area. This rally is an implementation of the orders of the National Police Chief and the Regional Police Chief in order to strengthen regional security, especially the port area as the lifeblood of the national economy,” said Martuasah. “The Tanjung Priok Port Police is very grateful to have many partners guarding Jakarta, such as the online motorcycle taxi community, port security and TKBM who helped maintain law and order, including during the security of past protests,” he added. Martuasah also advised all potential communities together with the National Police to work together to anticipate disasters and prepare for Christmas and New Year (Nataru). “We are preventing groups that want to commit criminal acts that could happen this December. Hopefully this momentum will be a motivation for all of us to continue to maintain a favorable situation and become a charity for all of us,” he said. “May God, the Almighty, always provide protection, strength and safety in the performance of the best service to the nation and state,” he concluded. The number of participants in the roll call was 203 personnel, consisting of 17 chief police officers, 84 police and rank-and-file police personnel, 17 port security personnel, 30 Tanjung Priok Port TKBM personnel, 55 online motorcycle taxi drivers.
