Targeting the Congress, Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma said – corruption and appeasement brought it down.

Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma on Sunday launched a scathing attack on the Congress party. He said that the Congress party was a leader in Parliament and Panchayats but fell to the ground due to its actions, corruption and appeasement policy. “Congress is a disease, if it joins hands with others, it also pushes them into the pit.” Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma participated in a state level awareness and volunteering program organized on the banks of Jal Mahal. Addressing the people as the Chief Guest, he said that wherever the Congress party compromises with smaller parties, it also pushes them along with them because they do not pay attention to their work. Congress party is visible somewhere now but will disappear in future. The Chief Minister spoke about single-use plastics. The Chief Minister said that cleanliness is a joint responsibility of the society and the government. The public must respect and encourage purity fighters. Avoid single-use plastics to keep the environment clean. The chief minister also administered the oath of cleanliness to the people present. Balmukundacharya also participated in the program. PPE kits were distributed to sanitation workers, Prime Minister Swanidhi Yojana checks were distributed to selected beneficiaries, and a road cleaning machine was flagged off. A booklet titled “Implementation Plan for Single Use Plastic Free Cities” was also released.
