Jakarta – Terra Drone Indonesia lawyer Eva Christianty relayed the development of the legal process on the Terra Drone building fire case. He said the matter is still being investigated by the police. “In the inspection process,” Eva said in Central Jakarta on Thursday (11/12/2025). We will see. We will follow the law,” said Eva. Eva also confirmed that she is accompanying the chief director of Terra Drone Indonesia, MW, who is a suspect in the case. He said his next agenda was to go to the police station to meet his client. “Yes (concomitant),” he said. Earlier, the police arrested MW after he was named as a suspect. MW was arrested on Wednesday evening (12/10). “So it’s true, we arrested the chief director of Terra Drone last night. Based on two pieces of sufficient initial evidence and the investigators’ confidence, we upgraded his status to suspect and we issued an arrest warrant,” head of criminal investigation unit for Central Jakarta Metropolitan Police AKBP Roby Saputra told reporters, Thursday (11/12). Roby explained that MW was arrested at his apartment in the South Jakarta area. “(Arrested) at his apartment, South Jakarta, Setiabudi,” he said. The fire at the Terra Drone building took place on Tuesday (12/9) afternoon. The fire killed 22 people. The victim died because he was trapped and inhaled smoke inside the building. (lir/lir)
