Director of Terra Drone arrested Police have arrested the chief director of PT Terra Drone Indonesia with the initials MW, who is a suspect in the fatal fire case. The police explained the reasons for identifying the suspect and arresting MW. “So it’s true, we arrested the chief director of Terra Drone last night. Based on two sufficient initial pieces of evidence and investigators’ confidence, we upgraded his status to suspect and we issued an arrest warrant,” said head of criminal investigation unit for the Central Jakarta Metropolitan Police AKBP Roby Saputra in Central Jakarta, Thursday (11/12). Roby said MW was charged with sections 187, 188 and 359 of the Penal Code. Roby said that the suspect was determined after investigators obtained sufficient evidence. “Because there is enough evidence and this is the investigator’s belief. So it has nothing to do with not responding to the summons. The evidence at the scene is that there are burn marks, then there is a victim who is dead, there is a post-mortem examination that explains this. Then we are also waiting for the outcome of the report,” he said. He said there were also witness statements obtained by investigators. According to him, the owner of the building that uses Terra Drone will also be questioned. (wnv/wnv)
