Nakulnath warned that if maize is not bought at MSP, the Congress is ready to start an agitation in the entire Madhya Pradesh. Even after the crop is sold, the family is unable to cover its expenses. Farmers in the agricultural produce market say that the cost of each acre, including field cost, seed, fertilizer, labor etc., has increased significantly. But the price held in the market does not give them even half of that cost. This compulsion forces farmers to sell their crops and that too at the lowest price. Farmer Rajesh Vishwakarma said that after selling the maize crop, the family is unable to meet its expenses. There are announcements of support price, but the situation in the market is different.
