He is said to have duped people for about three years by promising them jobs in the Superintendent of Police office or other police stations of Purnia, Katihar and Araria districts. He used to ask huge amount for providing jobs to people in rural areas. When this fake sub-inspector reached the office of the Araria Superintendent of Police to represent a woman from Bossi police station area of ​​Araria, other police officers became suspicious because his behavior was not that of a police officer. The police secretly informed Manish Kumar Rajak, in-charge of the city police station, about this. As soon as he left the office, the police stopped him and started questioning him. What did the accused tell during interrogation? During interrogation, he disclosed his name as Ranveer Kumar and said that he was posted at Palasi Police Station in Araria. However, when the police asked him questions related to senior officers and terminology used in police work, he could not answer. He was then arrested and his weapon, which was found to be fake, was confiscated. Further investigation revealed that his real name is Ranveer Kumar (32 years). He is the son of Arjun Paswan, resident of Sakindudhaila village in Singheshwar police station area of ​​Madhepura district. He told that he took the sub-inspector exam in 2018 but failed. He then told his family a false story that he had become a sub-inspector. To prevent his family from knowing the truth, he lived in different places in Purnia and Katihar, making it look like he was posted in different places. He kept telling this to his wife for five years after the marriage. Currently, he was living with his wife and four-year-old son in Goriyari, Forbesganj of Araria district. Even after five years of marriage, he kept his wife in the dark and pretended to be on time every day. The wife is very sad after knowing the truth about her husband. The parents still cannot believe that the police arrested their son.
