Bihar Tourism News: The approved plans for expanding facilities in the tourist spots of the district have now started taking shape. The lack of facilities for people who visit tourist places for a long time will be removed after the completion of the schemes. Along with changing the nature of these places, the government is implementing schemes to provide facilities to the tourists. Remove Ads Read Only News The tourist sites being developed have a rich history. Someshwardham Areraj, where devotees come throughout the year for darshan of Somshwarnath Mahadev and for Jalabhishek. Lakhs of devotees reach here on many occasions including Sawan, Anant Chaturdarshi. But they face problems due to limited facilities. But now to solve their problems implementation of schemes worth Rs 106 crore has been started. Construction of a bridge on the Dhanoti River and widening of the road to reach and exit the temple should be done. Apart from this, the boundary wall of the temple and Parvati pond are beautified and houses are built for people to stay. Sitakund Dham in Pipra’s Bediwan Madhuban has been declared a tourist spot and its development has been started. The work is being done here at a cost of Rs 13.10 crore. It is believed that Lord Shri Ram stayed here at this place while returning from Janakpur along with Mother Sita. This site has been neglected until now, but work is underway to equip this site with tourist facilities. Along with the excavation of Sitakund, a road, cafeteria and guest house are being built for tourists. Work is also underway on the world’s tallest Saffron Buddhist Stupa by tourist standards. Recently, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar along with Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary and other ministers arrived to review the tourist facility center being constructed here. Work is also underway here at a cost of Rs 17.15 crore. It has been informed that after the expansion of facilities at these places, a large number of tourists will come here. This will provide employment opportunities to the people of the surrounding areas. After it is developed as a tourist destination, the appearance and economy of the area will change.
