Jakarta – Minister of Forestry (Menhut) Raja Juli Antoni together with members of the National Police and TNI evacuated the bodies of flood victims in Nagari Selaras Air, Palembayan District, Agam Regency, West Sumatra. Raja Juli said evacuation and emergency response to victims was his party’s main focus. This was conveyed by Raja Juli after reviewing the disaster conditions in Agam Regency. We are continuing to coordinate with the TNI, Polri, of course, to complete this stage first. Of course, thank God (the vehicle) has arrived,” said Raja Juli. “Again, the main focus of the central, regional, TNI and Polri governments at this time is the emergency response period, the evacuation of victims, psychologists for our younger brothers and sisters who have potential trauma from this incident. Again today we are trying to focus on completing the evacuation and emergency response process,” he added. It is known that the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) has provided an update on the victims who died as a result of natural disasters such as floods and landslides that hit Aceh, North Sumatra (North Sumatra) and West Sumatra (Sumbar). The death toll in North Sumatra reached 172 people, Aceh 54 people and West Sumatra 90 people.
