Remove Advertisement Read Only News In the review meeting held at Krishi Bhawan, the Minister said that this year a target has been set to organize Kisan Pathshala, Gram Panchayat level seminar in 21,000 Gram Panchayats of the state. For this, guidelines have been issued to all district and divisional officers. The program will be offered at the PACS Society, Farmer Welfare Centre, Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Gram Panchayat Secretariat, Primary Schools as well as at the farms of progressive and award winning farmers. The village heads of the Gram Panchayats where the school will be set up will be notified in advance. Participation of scientists from ICAR institutes, agricultural science centers and professors from agricultural colleges will be mandatory in the programme, so that farmers can get information about new research techniques and innovations. Instructions were given to hold special discussions in the seminars on crop protection after sowing, crop residue management, departmental schemes and the strategy of Zaid crops. To ensure participation of public representatives, the Minister of Agriculture said that they should be personally invited by issuing a letter from the level of District Magistrate or Chief Development Officer. Director of Agriculture, dr. Pankaj Tripathi, said that the programs will be organized between December 12 and 29, therefore attention should be given to the quality of the programs rather than the quantity.
