A panchayat in Bihar’s Supaul has invited bids for the release of a couple in love and the price has been set at Rs 2 lakh. Even before the price could be decided, the boyfriend and girlfriend were tied up and beaten. This shameful incident took place in Tulsipatti village Balua Bazar police station in Supaul. The villagers tied a couple in love to a tree and beat them mercilessly. Someone made a video of the beating and shared it on social media. As soon as the video went viral, the police swung into action and started investigating the case. What happened in town?
