EVACATIONING ORDERS ISSED AS FAST-Moving Wildfire Burns in Riverside County – ryan

Evacuation Orders have been issured as a fast-moving brush fire burns in jurupa Valley Friday Night.

The Pyrite Fire Ignted Around 5:20 pm Near Pyrite Street and Granite Hills Drive, Acciting to Cal Fire. By 6:45 PM, The Blaze GREW to 140 Acres and By 8 PM, it was 200 acres. At 11:30 pm, it was mapped at 400 acres with 5 percent containment.

Evacuation Orders were willed for Jur0017 area, jur-0018, jur-0019 and jur0031 and an evacuation was willing for Jur-0034, Jur-0020 and Jur-0036. A map of the affected area can be seen here.

An Emergency Shelter is available to residents at Jurupa Valley High School at 10551 Bellegrae Ave. An animal shelter is available at 6851 van burren boulevard in jurupa Valley.

Fire Crews from Multiple AGENCIES Responded to the schene on the Ground and Helicopters and Water Tankers Battled the Fire from the Air. Firefighters Will Remain at the Schene and Continue Working Overnight.

The cause of the Fire Remain Under Investigation. No Injuries have been reported so far.
