The inappropriate behavior of six Udayana University (Unud) students who mocked a suicide victim with the initials TAS led to sanctions. Besides having their grades reduced by the campus, they were officially fired from all student organization (ormawa) positions on campus. Reported by detikBali, four of them are administrators of the Political Science Student Association (Himapol) Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) Unud. They are head of the external department Maria Victoria Viyata Mayos, head of the department of studies, action, strategic and education, Muhammad Riyadh Alvitto Satriyaji Pratama, deputy head of the department of children’s interests and talents Agung Ngurah Nanda Budiadnyana, and deputy head of the external department Vito Simangukalit. Scroll TO CONTINUE CONTENT The four of them received letters of Dishonorable Dismissal (PTDH) from the management of Himapol FISIP Unud. “Himapol FISIP hereby declares that it will take firm action and impose the strongest possible sanctions, namely Dismissal with Disrespect (PTDH), on all members of Himapol FISIP Udayana University Cakra cabinet who are proven to have committed this immoral act. We emphasize that the person concerned has no official connection with us,” an official statement from Himapol wrote on Instagram by Unapol. detikBali, Saturday (18/10/2025). The Student Council (DPM) FISIP Unud also took similar action against Putu Ryan Abel Perdana Tirta, a class of 2023 student who serves as chairman of Commission II. “Therefore, we hereby declare that the person concerned above HAS BEEN DISMISSED and officially declared that he no longer serves as a member of the Student Council of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Udayana University for the period 2025/2026,” wrote a statement from the DPM FISIP Unud on his Instagram page. Not only from FISIP, strict sanctions were also imposed on students across faculties.
