A pedicab driver hit and killed, DJ, a Fortuner driver in Medan, becomes a suspect

Jakarta – The driver of a Fortuner car, a disc jockey (DJ), named Parlin Sembiring (28), crashed into a pedicab driver and died at USU Tax on Jalan Jamin Ginting. Currently, the police have named Parlin as a suspect in the accident case. “The suspect in question (Parlin),” Medan Police Traffic Chief AKBP I Made Parwita said when confirmed by journalists, as reported by detikSumut, Friday (24/10/2025). Made said the suspect was identified based on the results of the crime scene (CRI), questioning of witnesses and CCTV footage. After a case was closed, DJ Parlin was named as a suspect. Earlier, DJ Parlin ran away after hitting a goods pedicab driver at USU Tax. The accident happened on Saturday (18/10) around 05.10 WIB. The victim is Fauji (60).
