Tangerang -Banten -Governor Andra Soni visited floods in the Balaraya area, Tangerang Regency. In the housing, the construction of a reservoir is to expect flooding. Because it’s the effect is the water path,” he said. Andra also highlighted the waterways or sewage covered with concrete. He called on residents not to use the sewerage area to expand the building. “There may be no sewage that is closed or concrete for personal gain. It shouldn’t happen,” he said. Meanwhile, the Regent of Tangerang, Moch Maesyal Rasyid, said that the Permata II region that is prone to flooding is a low area. He said there are two steps to be taken by the government. “In the direction of the governor, there are two steps we will take soon. First, to build water reservoirs on the Fasos Fasum country, and to expand the water channel secondly so that the flow is smooth,” he said. According to Maesyal, the Tangerang Regency government has set up a budget for the repair of waterways. But for the construction of a reservoir, it will still be communicated with the Banten provincial government. “The Tangerang Regency government has assigned a budget for the restoration of the connection channel to Kali Pekong to Cimanceri in the APBD amendment 2025.
