Border Security Force (BSF) Frontier headquarters Kashmir and Composite Hospital BSF Srinagar arranged a medical seminar and CME (continued medical training) in the Frontier headquarters on Monday. The theme of the conference was “healthy warriors, safe boundaries; the protection of those who protect,” a statement says. It was the first plastic -free medical conference in BSF, a green initiative of the composite hospital, BSF, Srinagar, an official said. “The CME is chaired by Dr Umesh Tiwari, Inspector General/Director (Medical), BSF medical directorate, who served as a panel member with his extensive experience during the conference. Lectures were delivered by five BSF and two GMC Srinagar experts,” the statement said. The topics discussed were, among other things, tension in the armed forces, a fight, three fronts: obesity, diabetes and fatty liver, pivd and radiculopathy, a case for gunshots injuries, at high height, hypertensive crisis and hospital safety management.
