Raipur, September 18 (IANS). Chhattisgarh’s chief minister Vishnu Dev Sai inaugurated the new Railway Service on Thursday in Rajim. He slaughtered the new Memu train service from Rajim to Raipur. On this occasion, he also began expanding Rajim-Raipur-Rajim Memu New Train Service and Raipur-Abhanpur 2 Memu Rail Service to Rajim. On this occasion, a large number of passengers went on board the train and enthusiastically left for Raipur. Chief Minister Sai said that people from Gariaband and Devbhog region, including Rajim, of this new track service will also receive the option for cheap and affordable trip to the capital Raipur. This train seems to be extremely useful for everyone, including students, class and business class. He said that Prayag of Chhattisgarh, Rajim has now joined the rail network. The movement of the capital Raipur from rural areas became easier, convenient and economical. He informed that Nairogez Train ran from Dhamtari to Raipur about eight years ago, and now, after an eight -year gap, the broad train facility is available here. For this he thanks Prime Minister Modi on behalf of the people of Chhattisgarh. Chief Minister Sai said that about 45,000 crore rupees of Railways are operated in Chhattisgarh. In the budget of FY 2025-26, a provision of approximately 7,000 crore was made, ensuring the rapid expansion and development of spording services in the state. According to the information received from the Raipur Railway Division of South East Central Railway, Raipur-Abhanpur-Raipur Memu Passenger train will now be operated to Rajim. From September 19, 2025, according to the usual time table, the train number 68766/68767 Rajim-Abhanpur-Raipur Memu Passenger will work daily from Rajim and Raipur.
