Bandung – Chief Inspector General of the National Police Traffic Corps, Agus Suryonugroho, has confirmed that the revival of electronic traffic law enforcement (e-TLE) has gone well at the West Java (Jabar) Regional Police. Inspector General Agus appreciated the performance of the West Java Regional Police because the number of e-TLE applications has increased significantly. “I, Kakorlantas Polri, with a team of Korlantas Polri, assure that the revival of electronic traffic law enforcement is already underway at the West Java Regional Police, first applause,” Inspector General Agus said at the Bandung Police Headquarters, Wednesday (10/22/2025). This revival is to improve public services on highways and at Samsat and Satpas. “Of course, this is the basis of the policy of the National Police Chief, who on Bhayangkara Traffic Day launched Digital Traffic Corps, so I, as Chief of Traffic Police, specifically explained it in relation to public services, whether it is law enforcement, public services at Samsat, at Satpas, including in traffic accidents, so that we ensure that we can give a leap in digital society,” he said. Only then, Inspector General Agus appreciated the performance of the West Java Regional Police Traffic Directorate in the implementation of e-TLE. He said e-TLE’s performance has increased significantly. “I express my appreciation and gratitude to the Java Regional Police that the performance of e-TLE will increase in 2025, there will be an increase, that in 2025 there will be 373,117, so there will be an increase of 353 percent, which is quite extraordinary,” he said. Not only that, the increase in the number of confirmed e-TLEs has also increased. Likewise, there has been an increase in offenders admitting their mistakes and then paying up. “Secondly, it was validated, so the number was captured, there was an increase of 166,764, an increase of 553 percent. Likewise, it was confirmed, there was an increase of almost 832 percent.
