CM Dhami did an air recording on the disastrous areas of Rudraprayag, instructions to speed up relief

Rudraprayag, September 20 (IANS). Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami made an air recording on Saturday about the towns of Chhenagad, Taljaman, Uchhola, Dangi and Badath of the disaster that became Basuadar in the Ruddraprayag district. During this time, he reviewed the damage done by the disaster and assessed the situation of assistance in the areas concerned. After the air survey, the main minister reached Gulabrai per helicopter, where he met some workers in the BJP office. After this, a meeting with district level officials in the Panchayat Auditorium district and the disaster aids reviewed. Chief Minister Dhami gave clear instructions to the officials that all possible assistance should be provided to the families affected by the disaster. He said disasters are still devastating this year in Uttarakhand. The era of the disaster began on August 5 from Dharali, has not stopped yet. The government immediately works on each front and is committed to relieving the involved. He also instructed officials to operate the second phase of Chardham Yatra in Rudraprayag as well as the second phase of Chardham Yatra. Chief Minister Dhami ordered to work on a war foot to repair damaged roads. He said: “In this difficult time of disasters, the state government is fully with the concerned. The administration was instructed to give immediate tools to the victims. The power and drinking water supply must be restored soon.” CM Dhami instructed the authorities not to take any form of negligence in the works. He also said that it is the government’s priority to restore basic facilities such as road, electricity and water in the affected areas as soon as possible. For this, all departments involved were instructed to work coordinated. Rudraprayag -District Administration said teams are constantly active in the area for assistance and food, temporary shelters and medical facilities are affected. The visit and instructions of the main minister raised the hope of relief among the locals.
