The ancient capital of Jaisalmer ‘Lodrava’ has the remains of the Temple of Mumal near the Shiva Temple and on the banks of the Kak River, which is a silent witness of the immortal love story of Mumal-Mahendra. Mahendra earlier crossed the miles of the desert to meet his beloved Mumal and come here. Lodrava City was the desert of Thar, on the banks of the Kak River.
