Instructions were given to provide 24 hour electricity during festivals. Control rooms have been set up for redressal of complaints and toll free number 1912 is available. The Power Corporation management has made elaborate arrangements to ensure uninterrupted power supply. Dr. Ashish Kumar Goyal, chairman of the corporation, said that arrangements have been made to provide 24-hour electricity on major festivals. Instructions were given to the Managing Director of Discom to the Chief Engineers to provide uninterrupted power supply without tripping to all the areas. A control room has also been set up at the corporation’s headquarters, which is monitored by senior officials. The Chairman said that complaints can also be made through toll free number 1912. Instructions were given to maintain adequate repair gang arrangements to repair local faults in a minimum time. Officers and employees deployed in the field were instructed to answer the phone. It is noteworthy that the state has been kept free from power cuts even on Dussehra. Since the demand for electricity has decreased due to changing weather, since April 14, the management has been continuously providing 24-hour electricity to the people of the state.
