First light and sound show in the city of Baba Mahakal, a unique confluence of religion and modern technology.

Ujjain, October 25 (IANS). The glory of the Mahakaleshwar Temple of Ujjain is enormous. Devotees from far and wide come to Baba’s court to get relief from their problems. Now we will also get to know the history of Ujjain and the glory of the holy Shipra river. A laser light show was organized in the temple to educate the devotees about the history of Ujjain, and a crowd of devotees was seen watching the show. ‘Water Screen’ light and sound show was opened for devotees in the temple of Baba Mahakal in Ujjain. In the show, the entire saga of Lord Mahakal, Shipra River and the history of Ujjain was shown in an innovative manner so that today’s youth can know about Baba Mahakal and Sanatan Dharma. The show is 30 minutes long, in which history is shown to the devotees through projection on a water screen. The project was inaugurated on Diwali and Chief Minister Mohan Yadav watched the program on the first day. This project was jointly built by Smart City and Madhya Pradesh Tourism by spending Rs 18 crore. Corporation Commissioner Abhilash Mishra told the media that the light and sound show has been opened for devotees and no fee has been kept so far to watch the show. The show tells about the history of Ujjain and the glory of Baba Mahakal, and how the stories present in the Puranas came into being. The focus was on these things. Enthusiasm was also seen among the devotees about the show. Devotee Priyanka told IANS that she has seen many laser shows, but she cannot describe the show she saw in the temple. He said that the young generation would understand the religion and how Mahakal was established in the city of Ujjain after watching such programmes. Another fan told in the conversation that the glory of Shiva Mahapuran was not told in such a good way in any show.
