During the submission of the report, the Sit chief said: “The facts that came out in the investigation confirm the incident of rape. The victim’s statement and the circumstances of the incident coincide. Now the report has been submitted for the next police section.” What will be the next action? Based on the SIT report, the police department will now begin the process of filing a charge sheet against the accused. A total of three accused were arrested in the case, while investigating the involvement of some others. The police commissioner said: “The SIT report is very solid and all the necessary facts are included. Soon a charge sheet will be submitted to the accused by taking the opinion of the prosecution.” The family expressed the expectation of justice and expressed satisfaction with the SIT report. The victim’s mother told the media: “We are confident that our daughter will now get justice.
