Shimla News (Ankush Doval): The 217th meeting of the Board of Directors of HPMC was held on Tuesday at Himachal Pradesh Secretariat. The meeting was chaired by Horticulture Minister Jagat Singh Negi. After the meeting, Horticulture Minister Jagat Singh Negi said that during this financial year, HPMC is expected to have the highest profit of up to 5 crores so far.
HPMC has also produced the maximum 2000 tonnes of Apple concentration ever. HPMC is going to build a thermal power thermal store in the state. The Board of Directors has also decided to give CA Store and Grading Packing Center to busy people through tender process.
Horticulture Minister Jagat Singh Negi said that HPMC has been working for the gardeners of the state for a long time. Apart from this, the responsibility of procurement of apple under MIS is also on HPMC. In addition to the procurement of HPMC Sub, Apple is also working to make juice by adding concentrates, wines and without artificial sugar.
HPMC is expected to have maximum profit of 5 during the financial year to complete on 31 March. Along with this, approximately 2000 tons of Apple Constrates were produced, which is the highest so far. The corporation has started sending production to the metro station. The board of directors has decided that HPMC lands will be made the medium of earning of the corporation across the country.
With this, the corporation is expected to get upfront money of more than 100 crores and more than 2 crores monthly. The corporation has decided to give CA store and grading packing center in the state to private people through tender process. HPMC is going to build a CA store from Jio Thermal in the state soon. For this, the pilot project has been started. Also, HPMC is going to start new wine and leikar brand.
