When he came to the National Capital on Friday to receive this award, Sanjeev Gupta, chief correspondent of the Delhi State Bureau, spoke to him about different topics. Key extracts are offered:- How do you feel after you receive the Jagran Sahitya Srijan Award after receiving many prestigious awards? – I feel very proud. This is because I have read this newspaper and have been associated with it since the beginning. Jagran has done an excellent job by starting this award. Through the investigation into Jagran, the authors and junk states from neglected areas can also be identified, which are still missing somewhere, even after writing a lot. You have started your literary career with writing poetry, but later also written about all other genres. – I started writing poetry at the age of eight. National poet Ramdhari Singh Dinkar called me Madhukar after listening to my poetry. Later, I also wrote about criticism, novels, satire and mythological topics. Tell us about the work ‘Vakratunda’ for which you received Jagran Sahitya Srijan Samman. – Vakratund, ie Ganapati Shri Ganesha has many forms – from the removal of obstacles to the destroyer of barriers. Sweet to Sattva and hard to Tamas. This nature of him created special dedication for Shri Ganesha in the hearts of people because he is their own, compassionate, generous, comfortable, comfortable, satisfaction with all the hope and ambitions. It is not that he does not get angry, but his anger is not for the devoted. He is going to give them fearlessness. Man is a human being, He is also the giver and protector of all other living beings. In a world full of obstacles, there is countless leel axis of such a merciful Lord Ganesha. His narrative in “Vakratunda” was created from this leelas, which gives a different assurance and relief to readers that if you remain full of goodness towards others, Vakratunda will convert every curve that comes in your path. What characters in mythological topics did you write?- I am a resident of Sitamarhi. In the book Parashakti Shri Sita and Avtaran Bhoomi: Sitamahi, I exposed the truth of the concept of Punora Dham, including the construction of Sita’s temple in the city by some people there for their financial profits. In addition, I also prepared a book on Hanuman Ji, describing the struggle between his human and divine forms. Isn’t it written on RAM? There are many discussions about Ramrajya these days. What do you say about this?- It has not been written on Ram yet. Rus Ramrajya is an ideal concept. This is not possible in today’s times. Today’s civilization contains a lot of castles and sub-results. It is necessary for the removal of all these subcasts for Ramrajya. It is said that the reading culture is now declining. What are you saying?- I thought so earlier, but now I don’t. Good literature has always been read, is still read today. The best selling books are proof of this. Even today, books in each category are sold according to the importance of the subject. How do you see the reading culture in the future? What message will you give to the new generation? – I am an optimist and my thinking must also be optimistic, not pessimistic. My message to the new generation is to read a lot, read awareness, read with the intention of doing concrete work and moving forward.
I feel proud to receive the Sahitya Srijan Award from the same newspaper I have been associated with since the beginning: Mahendra Madhukar – Mahendra Madhukar honored with Jagran Sahitya Srijan Samman
