Joey Lawrence is feeling the birthday love!
The actor turned 49 on Sunday, April 20, and his wife, Samantha Cope, marked the occasion by sharing a sweet photo of the couple on her Instagram Stories.
The image shows the two posing together at a table as Cope rested her head on her husband’s shoulder and they enjoyed some drinks.
Cope, 37, wrote over the photo: “Celebrating my cutie all week,” adding cake and heart emojis.

Lawrence and Cope got married on May 1, 2022, at the Temecula Creek Inn in Temecula, Calif., after meeting on the set of Lifetime’s My Husband’s Secret Brother in 2021.
Shortly after, the two announced they were expecting their first child — Lawrence’s third — in September of that year. They then welcomed their daughter Dylan in January 2023. (Lawrence is also a dad to daughters Charleston and Liberty with his ex-wife Chandie Yawn-Nelson.)

In August 2024, Cope filed for divorce. A source later told PEOPLE that the couple split after Lawrence had an alleged affair with his Socked in for Christmas costar Melina Alves. At the time, Alves released a statement on her Instagram, where she denied having any “sexual relationship” with Lawrence while filming their Christmas movie.
Months later, on Dec. 1, Cope signed a motion to dismiss the petition for divorce she filed, less than a week after Lawrence revealed that the formerly estranged couple had reunited in a post shared on Instagram.
In the months to follow, Cope shared loved-up social media posts with Lawrence, including a video of the couple taking dance classes in January and a photo of them in Mexico in February.
