Kebbi -Governor suspends the top official because he claims that northern states have the highest, lesbian population

The indefinite suspension was confirmed by Governor’s general secretary Ahmed Idris on Friday. In a letter from Kebbi State of the State, Malami Share, it is said that Kigo’s commentary violated the public service rules and amounts to “social misconduct” that has damaged the reputation of the state. “The statement is misleading and unacceptable in a morally decent society. The official must remain suspended pending an investigation.” Kigo, a permanent secretary and Islamic clergy, made the remark during a Ramadan Seminar at Adamu Aliero Housing Estate in Birnin Kebbi. The state government has since distanced itself from his demands and called them ‘fictional and unfounded’.
