The rich nutrients they contain can play an important role in improving the health of important organs, including the liver.” The liver is important for detoxification, metabolism and overall health, so it is important to care for health. By including certain foods in your daily diet, your liver can strengthen and improve your overall health. 1. Cranberries Cranberries are rich in polyphenols that act as prebiotics for your gut bacteria. According to Dr. Salhab is a healthy bowels linked to a healthy liver. 2.. Watermelon with lemon According to gastro -centerologists, watermelon contains a compound called citrulline that helps with the production of nitric oxide, while lemon is rich in vitamin C. When these two come together, they promote blood flow to the liver. 3. Pomegranate Dr. Salhab explains that pomegranate contains polyphenols such as Ellagitannin and Punicalagin in abundance. Beetroot Dr. Salhab explains that beet is rich in nitrate and betaine, which supplies nitric acid to the liver. Betaine is a nutrient that supports the liver and helps remove fat from liver cells. 7. STRAWBEY AND DARK CHOCOLATE This combination is rich in flavanole and anthocyanins, which are linked to a better function of blood vessels and better cardiometabolic health. However, gastro -centerologists recommend choosing dark chocolate with 70 percent or more cocoa to stay healthy.
