Madhya Pradesh: Ed action, 14 immovable properties seized from the Office of Beo

Indore, September 20 (IANS). The Directorate for Enforcement (ED) took large steps in the case of rig of Rs 20 crore of the Block Education Office (BEO) in Madhya Pradesh. Indore Sub Zonal Office temporarily seized 14 immovable properties worth Rs 4.5 crore in terms of the provisions of the Money Laundry Prevention Act (PMLA), 2002. Pradesh. Investigation revealed that the Integrated Financial Management System (IFMS) was built between 2018-2023 and that the government funds were widely manipulated by the approved false accounts. Earlier, a search operation was conducted under the PMLA, Article 17 of 2002 in this case, in which several offensive records and millions of rupes were seized. The most important accused Kamal Rathore was arrested by the ED on August 7, 2025 and is currently in judicial detention. ED Investigation revealed that an amount of Rs 20.47 crore was transferred by 917 false accounts to 134 bank accounts. The accused launched this money by withdrawing money by withdrawing money by withdrawing money by transferring money to family members and investing in various properties in Alirajpur and Panna. Later, several properties purchased in the name of family members were sold to hide the illegal source of money.
