These vehicles were involved in transporting illegal mining materials in rural areas. Police swung into action in many areas including Kanachak, Domana, Jhajjar Kotli. The police found that mining laws had been violated and informed the District Mining Officer. The police said that this operation will continue and appealed to the public for cooperation. These vehicles were found to be involved in transporting illegal mining materials in rural areas. According to the police, this action was taken by the teams of Kanachak, Domana, Jhajjar Kotli, Pauni Chakk, Sidhada and Jyodia police stations. All these vehicles were found involved in illegal mining and thereby violated mining laws. The police have informed the concerned District Mining Officer (DMO), Jammu, to initiate necessary legal action. The Jammu Police has made it clear that the campaign against illegal mining will continue strictly in the future as well. The police appealed to the public to report any illegal mining activity to the police immediately to protect natural resources and the environment.
