Krishna Mohan Shukla, 55, a resident of Jhinjhak in the Kanpur district, was a teacher at the GNK Inter College. Apart from this, he also taught NCC to children. He lived in Bara 2 with his wife Reena Shukla. His son Sarthak is studying LMM at a college in Jaipur, while his daughter Sakshi is married. According to family members, he went to the NCC headquarters on civil lines at about 3pm on Thursday with co -teacher Yogendra Yadav, resident of Pukhrayan in the Konkur district. As they returned from there, they descended both from the old Govindpuri bridge, when the DCM hit a private milk supply business from behind their bike. In this accident, both the teachers who rode on the bike trapped and crushed under the DCM. Meanwhile, the DCM became uncontrollable and fell about six feet and the railing of the bridge broke with the bike. Once the information was received, the Govindnagar police and the locals removed the DCM with the help of a crane and took both teachers to a nearby private hospital. There, doctors declared Krishna Mohan dead, while Yogendra was seriously injured. Inspector Abhay Singh said that no Tahrir had been received from the family so far. Further steps will be taken after receiving the complaint. After the accident, the bridge was stuck. People’s vehicles stopped after they hung the DCM and trapped the cyclists under it after the accident on the Govindpuri bridge. People ran and tried hard to save the cyclists, but they failed. The bridge was stuck on the bridge until the vehicle was removed using a police tane. Some people have adopted other routes to avoid traffic jams.
