Georgia rapper T-Hood shot dead in his home, investigating
Georgia [US]August 10 (Ani): A Georgia-based rapper, Tevin Hood, better known as T-High, was shot dead in his home in the Snellville area. According to a TMZ report, the shooting occurred after a dispute between the parties in the area. Gwinnett County police are currently investigating the case as a manslaughter. However, the motive behind the attack remains unclear. After the attack, the rapper was provided by the first respondents medical service and then transported to the local hospital, where he succumbed to the injuries, the report added. One was arrested in connection with the shooting and was questioned by police. T-High’s mother, Yulanda, confirmed to the outlet that her son was shot at the residence, where he lived. She also denied that a party was running at the time. The musical credits of T-Hood are known in the southern rap scene and contain songs such as ‘Ready 2 Go’, ‘Big Booty’, ‘No Secret’ and ‘Perculator’. He also received the Trendsetter of the Year award at the Black Only Awards 2025. The 33-year-old was active on social media last week because he shared a fun video on his Instagram handle. Many of his fans and supporters flooded the commentary with compassion and prayers. A portion of people found it difficult to believe the tragic news. The girlfriend of T-High, Kelie Frost, the daughter of reality star Kirk Frost, also mourned the downfall of the rapper. “Just come and get me baby please …. I can’t even type it. I love your dad. I can’t wait to hold you again,” she wrote on Instagram, along with a string of photos. Music Producer Dectotwill added: “We were just on the phone all day, I can’t believe you’re gone. Rest in peace T-Hood I love your brother.” T-Hood and Decktot will work together several times in the past. (Ani)
