Police chief who reviews the safety of Easter worship in Depok makes sure it runs safely
Depok – Abdul Waras, chief commissioner of Depok Metro police, has checked a number of churches to obtain Easter worship. Police ensured that Easter worship was safe at the Depok church. “We are here to ensure that the implementation of Easter worship can run safely and solemnly. We also invite the public to participate in maintaining tolerance and security,” Abdul said in his statement on Friday (4/18/2025). The check site was held on Thursday (17/4), including the Church of Santo Paul, the Pancaran Kasikkerk and the Church of the Virgin Mary Ratu Depok. During his visit, Abdul also took time to talk to church churches and administrators.
